Activated Charcoal is a powerful absorbing agent, able to attract and hold many and poisons on the surface area – 1200 m2 per gram – can absorb up to 80 times its own volume of certain chemicals. It may be used internally or externally.

Activated Charcoal works by trapping chemicals and toxins in its porous surface which contain millions of tiny pores. (However, it isn’t used for the ingestion of petroleum, alcohol, lye, acids or other corrosive agents)
